Follow the Clues to High Ticket Items

Last September, Vince Camuto at UGA staged an event on the Georgia campus that some people are still talking about.

It scattered designer merchandise—from perfume and boots to handbags and jewelry—here and there and gave clues as to the whereabouts via social media.

Kind of hide-and-seek for digital savvy fashionistas.

The September event was so successful that the Vince Camuto at UGA team is again staging a Campus hunt on Jan. 24. Pariticipants should prepare to scout and scrimmage for 30 gifts that will be placed somewhere in academic buildings, lecture halls or campus parks. Hints and photos detailing the merchandise and its whereabouts will be posted on the Vince Camuto at UGA Facebook page immediately after the gifts  are hidden.

Attending class next week may produce unintended resuilts for students. If luck allows, they may just happen upon a bottle of perfume, a pair of shoes or a to-die-for leather handbag right outside class.

Vince Camuto events scheduled for the rest of the Spring 2012 semester include opportunities to score clothes for a job interview, to bridge the gap between fashion and dance, to attend a runway show, and to snag numerous glamorous giveaways. "Like" and monitor Facebook to emerge victorious from the Campus Hunt.
