Former UGA Linebacker Sentenced To Jail For Sexual Battery: Report

The former Georgia Bulldogs player was initially indicted on two rape charges, but pleaded guilty to the sexual battery of two women.

ATHENS, GA β€” Adam Anderson, a former linebacker for the Georgia Bulldogs, was recently sentenced to a year in jail on sexual battery charges, 11Alive reported Monday, citing court documents.

The outlet reported Anderson was initially indicted on two rape charges, but pleaded guilty to the sexual battery of two women. Anderson has to surrender Saturday to the Clarke County Jail.
