Free Parking Downtown Over Holidays

Starting today, holidays shoppers and diners can park for free at the new deck on E. Washington Ave.  

To take advantage of the free parking, simply request a voucher from a downtown business or restaurant.  The Athens Downtown Development Authority has distributed them in an attempt to promote the new parking deck and encourage people to buy local.  

On regular days, the first 30 minutes are free.  After that, it costs $1.50 each additional hour or $10 for an entire day.  You can also rent a space monthly.
