Friends of the Athens Clarke County Library Holding Holiday Fair with Barnes & Noble

With the holidays upon us, the Friends of the Athens-Clarke County Library will team up with Barnes & Noble Booksellers to create a fun and easy way to check off your shopping list as you support  the Athens-Clarke County Library.

On Saturday, Dec. 1, the Athens Barnes and Noble will hold a “bookfair” that will benefit the Friends of the Athens-Clarke County Library. To participate, just present a voucher to the cashier when you check out that day. A portion of your sale will support programs and services at the Library.

Vouchers are available at the Athens-Clarke County Library and online here. If you forget your voucher, simply explain to the cashier you’re there for the Friends.

In addition, the bookstore will display books from the library’s wish list that you may buy and  donate directly to the library. Plus, volunteers from the Friends of the Athens-Clarke County Library will be there to gift wrap your purchases. As a bonus, there will be entertainment all afternoon.
