Funeral Details Announced For Late UGA Recruiting Analyst
She was remembered as a 'beautiful spirited Dawg.'
TOCCOA, GA — The funeral for Chandler LeCroy, a University of Georgia recruiting analyst who died Jan. 15 in a car crash, is being held today.
LeCroy, 24, died in the wreck at Barnett Shoals Road that also claimed the life of UGA football player Devin Willock and injured two other people.
According to her obituary, LeCroy died while at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

Through condolences, she was described as a "beautiful and inspiring young lady" and a "beautiful spirited Dawg."
"Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog," a UGA representative wrote in a tribute.

LeCroy was a Toccoa native who was born June 8, 1998, in Hall County, according to her obituary. She attended Stephens County High School, where she was a competition cheerleader.
She was a 2020 UGA graduate, having earned a master's degree at the university.
"Chandler loved Georgia football more than anyone we knew. She gave up so much of her time to help in recruiting whether that be hosting recruits, using her incredible skills to make cards to send to families, decorating event spaces with her amazing vision and helping plan recruiting days and so much more. Her passion and love for Georgia went into everything she planned and created," her obituary read.
"She had a way of making each and every prospect and their families feel like her own family. Her love for the current Georgia football team didn’t go unnoticed. She would spend as many hours a day as she could to the program helping out in any and every way she could."
LeCroy assisted employees in the nutrition, equipment and operations departments, as well as defensive and offensive support staff.
She was active in mission trips at her home church of First Baptist Church of Toccoa, according to her obituary.
The funeral for LeCroy is 3 p.m., Jan. 18, at the First Baptist Church of Toccoa, 475 E. Tugalo St. Visitation is 1 p.m. at the Bridge of First Baptist Toccoa.
Members of the UGA football team and staff, as well as past and present members of the Stephens County High cheerleading teams will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory is leading the arrangements.
The family asks memorials benefit the First Baptist Church Mission Fund or the Stephens County High competition cheerleading program in lieu of flowers, according to her obituary.
