GA Bulldogs Transfer Arrested On False Imprisonment, Battery Charges

ATHENS, GA — Rodarius "Rara" Thomas, a wide receiver for the Georgia Bulldogs, is facing false imprisonment and family violence battery charges, according to Clarke County Jail records.

The new transfer was arrested around 4 a.m. Monday by the University of Georgia Police Department, jail records showed. No bond amount was set as of late Monday morning.

Details relating to the charges are unknown.

Thomas is a 2023 signee from Mississippi State. He is originally from Eufaula, Alabama. While at Eufaula High School, he was one of ESPN's top 35 prospects in Alabama.
