GEORGIA DETOX AND RECOVERY CENTERS HIRES ADDICTION PRO THOMAS MOORE
Moore to Serve East Atlanta to Athens

Georgia Detox and Recovery Centers (GDRC) is pleased to announce that Thomas Moore has been hired as an Area Recovery Representative. His territory spans East Atlanta to Athens, Ga. He will support the Athens GDRC location which will open on April 17, 2015.
An Atlanta native, Moore is a Certified Addiction and Drug Counselor (CADCII) and a Certified Peer Specialist (CPS). Moore has held several different roles in the substance abuse and the mental health treatment industry, in addition to serving in marketing and business development capacities.
Moore earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Substance Abuse/Addiction from Argosy University.

In his work as a clinician, Moore is known for a warm, relaxed and comfortable approach to counseling based on the person-centered theoretical foundation that he has been able to effectively use in the treatment of individuals presenting with co-occurring disorders. Moore plans to continue his professional growth by attending training seminarsΒ and workshops and continue education while working with GDRC.
