GEORGIA DETOX AND RECOVERY CENTERS PROMOTE ROBERT BICKNELL "BIC" CLARK TO EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Executive Director to represent Marietta, Athens, Macon, and Augusta

Georgia Detox and Recovery Centers (GDRC) announces the promotion of Robert Bicknell β€œBic” Clark III CADC to Executive Director. In this role, he manages the four new treatment centers in Georgia including Marietta, Athens, Macon, and Augusta. Prior, Clark served as Program Director at GDRC’s Marietta and Augusta locations since January 2014.

β€œBic has consistently demonstrated the willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty. His leadership exemplifies his commitment to the highest quality of care and service and compassion for those we serve,” said Tina Black LCSW, Vice President Operations, Georgia Detox and Recovery Centers.

Before joining GDRC, Clark served as Mirror Image Coordinator at Talbott Recovery, while earning his Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) designation. During his seven-year tenure at Talbott Recovery, Clark took on additional responsibilities as the Co-Director of Alumni Services and as Director of Transitional Programs, including oversight of Alumni, Volunteer, Mirror Image and the Transitional Living Programs.

Before this, Clark held managerial positions at multiple retail companies, establishing a track record of awards for superior service. Clark is a graduate of Jacksonville State University in Alabama. A Georgia native, Clark enjoys riding motorcycles and mountain biking, and he is active in Alcoholics Anonymous (AA).
