It's Down To Two for UGA

Georgia Review squares off against the legendary powerhouse, the Paris Review, for the literary journal crown.

As expected, the perennial publishing powerhouse of crushed an upstart Ecotone to advance to the finals in Bill and Dave's Cocktail Hour's Literary Final Four. The Georgia Review now faces The Paris Review for the literary crown.

The Paris Review, you might ask, vraiment? Bien sûr. Based in New York, and not in Texas or France, this legendary publication has had editors whose reputations are slightly taller than those of our own Stephen Corey and his team. Even with that misleading moniker.

But reputations are one thing and reality, another. And when it comes to putting it over the plate, so to speak, or, rather on the boards, Corey, Carlson and Ingle got nothin' but net. Nothin'. That team sends more manuscripts to the awards ceremonies than Kentucky sends players to the free throw line.

So now it's up to you, Dawg fans. Vote for the Georgia Review by telling Bill and Dave how fabulous a journal it is. Let the Georgia Review come home as National Champions. Go, Dawgs!
