Gypped by a Male Stripper, Woman Says

An Athens woman told Athens Clarke County Police that a male stripper gypped her out of $600 she paid him to entertain at a party, according to a story in the Athens Banner Herald. 

The woman found the exotic dancer on the Internet, set up a date for him to attend a party and wired him money, the story says. The party came and went without the stripper, who is based in Chicago.

After numerous emails and texts, the woman finally connected with the man, the story says, and he said he would give a performance when he travels to metro Atlanta in a few months.
