Homer Man Steals Rifle and Truck, Drives Away, Gets Arrested
The suspect allegedly branished a razor and then stole a truck and a rifle.
Danny Joe Fowler, 53, used a straight razor allegedly to steal a pickup truck and a rifle from a Banks County man, then fled from authorities.
After a three-hour manhunt in woods in East Jackson County, Fowler was arrested, according to a story in the Athens Banner Herald. He faces numerous charges, including possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, reckless driving, obstruction, attempting to elude and possession of marijuana.

Jackson County Chief Deputy Daniel Thomas said Fowler has a habit of running from the law.
