If You Threaten to Kill Police Officers, You Will Go to Jail
The information in this story comes from the ACC Police Department. An arrest doesn't mean a conviction.

Around 4am on July 15, ACC Police officers were dispatched to a domestic situation on Old Hull Road.
Whey they arrived, they found a vehicle with the doors open and no one inside. A short distance from the vehicle they found Carlos Perez on the ground. He said he and a friend had been standing by the vehicle talking when someone fired a gun.
Perez told police that his friend had fled on foot.
Other officers located the friend walking from one of the apartment buildings. The friend said when he and Perez arrived at the apartment, they met up with another man. Perez and the man argued and the friend got back in the vehicle.
The friend said Perez pointed a gun at him and they exited the vehicle. Perez pushed him to the ground and demanded his property. The friend gave him his cell phone and he fled on foot.
Since Perez did not have a gun on him when officers had contact with him, the University of Georgia K9 Unit was requested to search for the weapon. After searching the area, the dog found the weapon.
As officers were standing with Perez, he threatened to kill them, and he was arrested. Perez, 30, Sir Scott Rd, was charged with Terroristic Threats/Acts.
