Kolton Houston of Buford Still Fighting NCAA Ban

By now, University of Georgia football fans know that the NCAA banned Kolton Houston from play as a freshman.

An anabolic steroid injection while attending Buford High School has kept the junior offensive lineman riding the bench. Houston has said the steroids were used against his knowledge to speed healing of a shoulder injury.

But, a couple of years later, he and his university are still fighting the decision. His lifetime ban may have been rescinded, but the NCAA isn't budging on his current ban, according to the AJC.

He can play when his steroid levels are below the acceptable range, officials have said. (Steroids can linger in the system for years.)
