The Kroger store on Epps Bridge Road opened a new fuel center last week with 18 fueling spots, according to a press release. It is open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
A ribbon-cutting is scheduled at 9 a.m. Wednesday, July 20. Kroger Plus car holds will get 10 cents off per gallon until Aug. 2.

“We are pleased to open this new Fuel Center for our customers in Athens,” spokesman Glynn Jenkins said in an email. “It is another great service and savings opportunity that we can provide our customers to enhance their shopping experience.”
