Laptops, Electronics and Cash Popular with Thieves

A man reported that his Barnett Shoals Road residence was entered, most likely through an unsecured front door.  The residence was entered between 12:30pm on June 1 and 2pm on on June 7. A laptop was the only item taken.

Two residents had the side door to their Grove Street residence forced open between 12 noon on June 1 and 4:50pm on June 7. A guitar and DVD's were removed from the residence and were recovered in the yard.

Three residents reported that someone entered their residence through an secured back door between 8:30am on June 3 and 7:15pm on June 7. Cash is missing. Victims suspect a former roommate.

A woman reported the door to her bedroom inside her Lakeside Drive apartment was pried open between 8am on June 1 and midnight on June 8. Checks and electronics were taken.

A woman reported that her Zebulon Drive residence was entered through the undamaged back door between 2am on June 8 and 2:49am on June 8. A TV and surround sound system were taken.

Between 10pm on June 2 and 11:45pm on June 6 the Little St residence of four men was burglarized. A TV valued at $800 was stolen.

A woman told police that her Sycamore Drive residence was burglarized between 8am and 3:30pm on May 29. An ID card and bankcard were stolen. This was reported on June 4.

Between 6am and 10am on June 2, a Preserve Drive residence was burglarized. Laptops valued at $2,600 were stolen. This was reported on June 4.

A Gaines School Rd storage unit was burglarized between 10am and 5:30pm on June 4. The lock and slider, valued at $25, were stolen. It is unknown if anything is missing from the unit.

Bar stools, chairs, and tables valued at $3,000 were stolen from the pool area at The Flats at Carrs Hill on Oconee Street between 5pm on June 2 and 3pm on June 4.
