Man Charged In 2022 Athens Shooting That Injured At Least 1
Police told Patch the man sustained injuries relating to the April 2022 shooting at Carriage Court.
ATHENS, GA — A 19-year-old man was arrested Thursday in connection with the April 2022 shooting of a 20-year-old man, Athens-Clarke County Police said Friday.
Amir Mangham is charged on suspicion of aggravated assault and several firearm-related charges, police said.
Officers responded around 9:15 p.m., April 26, 2022, in the 200 block of Carriage Court to a call of discharging firearms. They discovered the 20-year-old had been shot, police said. The man was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life threatening, police said.

Police told Patch Mangham arrived at a local hospital shortly after the shooting with a gunshot wound. His injuries were not life threatening and were related to the Carriage Court shooting, police said.
It is not known how Mangham was shot.
