Man Injured, Woman In Custody In Athens Shooting
The man was shot in his ankle Tuesday night at Martin Court.
ATHENS, GA — A 27-year-old woman is in custody after Athens-Clarke County Police say she shot a 31-year-old man Tuesday night in Athens.
Police said the shooting happened around 8 p.m. in the 100 block of Martin Court. Police did not say what led to the shooting.
The man was shot in the ankle and was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not life threatening.
