Man Steals Groceries, Puts Items in Other Man's Cart in Athens, Ga.

An Athens man was arrested Monday after being accused of stealing $44 worth of groceries from Walmart and putting them in another man's cart, according to an Athens-Clarke County Police report.
An employee of the Lexington Road Walmart told police that he witnessed the man putting items into plastic Walmart bags while talking to a customer. The man then started putting his bags into the man's cart. The custormer appeared unaware of what was going on, according to the employee.

Cager Cheek, 35, was arrested, charged with shoplifting and barred from Walmart for two years. He was transported to Clarke County Jail.
