Man Sustains Life-Threatening Injury In Athens Shooting
The shooting took place at Thumpa Drive in Athens, police said.
ATHENS, GA — A 32-year-old man who was shot Saturday at Thumpa Drive had a life-threatening injury, Athens-Clarke County Police said Monday.
The shooting happened around midnight in the 100 block, where officers responded to a discharging firearm call, police said.
The man was taken to a local hospital with a life-threatening injury, police said. The man's condition as of Monday was unknown.
