Meet the New! Improved! Heritage Room at the ACC Library

The public is invited to register and come for a look-see on June 20.

After nearly two years of renovation, the Athens-Clarke County Library’s Heritage Room, which houses local history and genealogy collections, is once again open and ready for research.

Library staff invites you to a special program on Thursday, June 20, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. to explore the newly opened Heritage Room. During “Meet the {New} Heritage Room,” researchers will take a walking tour of the expanded Heritage Room, explore print and digital resources and meet the new Heritage Room librarian, Angela Stanley. A demonstration of the ScanPro 2000, the Library’s new, state-of-the-art digital microfilm reader and printer, will also be included in the program.
