Prescriptions from the K Mart pharmacy will move to Publix.
The Big K Mart on Barnett Shoals Road on the eastside of Athens is in the process of . By the end of September, all the merchandise in the store will have been discounted and liquidated. This is according to officials with Sears Holding Company, which owns K Mart and other commercial properties.
An Athens Patch reader says that the K Mart phamacy closed permanently on Sunday night. All the prescriptions associated with K Mart will be available at the nearby on Monday.
