One Car Accident on Tallassee Road Sends Seriously Injured Driver to Hospital

On September 1 at 1:35am, a 28-year-old woman from Holman Avenue was traveling south in a Honda Civic on Tallassee Road, approaching Tallassee Farms Road.
The vehicle left the roadway and struck a culvert, guide wires, and a tree.
The driver was transported to Athens Regional Medical Center with serious injuries. The investigation is pending.
