Outstanding Warrant Arrest Leads to Drug Charges

An officer on patrol saw a vehicle being driven by a man whom he believed had outstanding warrants around 2:30pm on February 21. The warrants were confirmed and the officer made contact with Joshua Edward Tucker, 27, at a Lexington Road convenience store and arrested him.

As the officer talked with Tucker he saw what he believed to be a marijuana cigarette. During a search of the vehicle pursuit to the arrest, a quantity of suspect marijuana, cocaine, and Hydrocodone pills were found.

Tucker, of Wire Bridge Road in Watkinsville, was charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana, Possession of Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule I/II Drug, and Possession of Schedule I/II Substance, Possession of a Schedule I/II Substance.
