Playboy Names UGA #6 Party School

While administrators keep touting the rising academic accomplishments of students at the University of Georgia, others evaluate it according to different standards.

The latest accolade comes from Playboy Magazine, which has included UGA among the Top 10 party schools. UGA comes in at Number Six, behind Virginia (Number 1) and the University of Florida (Number 3).

This makes only the seventh time in its 59-year history that Playboy has compiled a list of Top 10 Party Schools. The following schools have earned a spot on the list:

1. University of Virginia

6. University of Georgia

2. University of Southern California

7. Vanderbilt University     

3. University of Florida

8. Tulane University

4. University of Texas

9. Texas Christian University

5. University of Wisconsin

10. Ohio State University

In addition to its Top 10 rankings, Playboy says the University of North Carolina has the "#1 Sex Life." Playboy's editors took America's top 100 colleges and universities and ranked them across 900 data points in categories for sex, sports and nightlife.
