Police Activity: Assault, Burglaries and Thefts

Assault
A Sycamore Drive resident reported she was assaulted by a suspect unknown to her. She said the incident occurred on Jan. 9 around 9:45 p.m. She said she was talking to a male somewhere in her apartment complex when a female approached her and they began to fight. She said during the fight she was cut in the face. She seemed disinterested in prosecution, this incident is under investigation.

Burglary
A Merlin Drive residence was burglarized between 6:50 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. on Jan . 9. An Xbox, Tablet, Laptop and Play Station were taken. Total items are valued at $1,800.

The clubhouse at the Retreat Apartments, 185 Artisan Place, was burglarized between midnight and 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 9. Items were scattered throughout the location and damage was done to fixtures/appliances. The suspect also took several soft drinks and other consumable items.

A Candler Road rental property was burglarized between 8 a.m. on Jan. 8 and 9 a.m. on Jan. 9. A washer and dryer were taken, valued at $600.

A Chalfonte Drive residence was burglarized between 9 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. on Jan. 9. A laptop, IPad and CD player were missing. The items were valued at $1,250.

Theft
A Pine Valley Drive resident reported his 2001 Toyota was entered between 8 p.m. on Jan. 8 and 5:45 a.m. on Jan. 9. A digital camera was taken.

A Pine Valley Drive resident reported her 1992 Chevrolet was entered between Jan. 8 and Jan. 9. The vehicle was not damaged and nothing was reported missing.

An 8x10 storage shed along with a paint sprayer and other miscellaneous items was stolen from Hidden Hills residence. The incident occurred between 10 p.m. on Jan. 8 and 12 p.m. on Jan. 9. The resident valued the stolen property at $1,900.
