Police: Suspects Talk about Eating Drugs While in Patrol Car

Athens-Clarke Police arrested three people early Monday morning after a traffic stop revealed drugs and drug-related equipment in the vehicle.
Police said in a news release that driver Molly Lucille Allen, 30, of Griffin, and passengers Blake Preston Coulter, 26, and Fernando Quevedo Gomez, 31, both of Athens, all face drug-related charges.
The vehicle was pulled over at 2:41 a.m. on Dec. 22 after it was seen pulling behind a business on Commerce Road, then leaving a few minutes later. A check on the vehicle showed it had no insurance.

A search of the vehicle found the equipment and drugs, according to the news release. Also, police said while Allen and Coulter were in the back seat of the patrol car, “they discussed eating drugs that were concealed on their person.”
Allen was arrested and charged with Sale, Distribution and Possession of Dangerous Drugs; Drugs in Original Container; Possession of Drug Related Objects; Tampering with Evidence (Felony); and No Proof of Insurance. Coulter was arrested and charged with Sale, Distribution, Possession of Dangerous Drugs; Drugs in Original Container; Possession of Marijuana; Possession of Drug Related Objects; and Tampering with Evidence (Felony). Gomez was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine; and Possession of Drug Related Objects.
