Protect Athens Music Conference

The Sports and Entertainment Law Society at Georgia Law is proud to present its annual conference on the intersection of law, music and business for musicians, students, professionals and anyone interested in music or the music business. This year’s event will include two panels:

1. The Role of Record Labels, moderated by David Barbe: A look at the role record labels can play, what sort of deals are available, and the benefits and drawbacks of releasing an album through a label are among the topics to be addressed.

2. Professional or DIY Publicity: A look at the issues facing publicists, artists and journalists in publicity for musicians.

There will be a Q&A following each panel and opportunities for networking before and between the panels.
