Sexual Assault Suspect Sought in Athens: Police
Victim encountered man earlier in the night at a restaurant and he followed her home, according to police.
ATHENS, GA — Investigators are hoping the public can help identify the suspect in the sexual assault in the downtown area.
On April 12, officers met the victim, who reported she was approached by an unidentified man who she'd encountered earlier at a downtown restaurant.
The man reportedly manipulated his way inside of her home and sexually assaulted her, according to the Athens-Clarke County Police.

Police describe the suspect as a white male with a long, full brown beard and light colored eyes. He was approximately 5'10” to 5'11" with a thin build. He may have been wearing a grey shirt and jeans.
