Sorority Security Guard Has Handcuffs, Wife's Purse Stolen

A security guard for the Kappa Delta sorority house had his handcuffs and several other items stolen from his vehicle Tuesday morning while he was patrolling on foot, according to an Athens-Clarke County Police report.
The guard told police that he left his vehicle to do rounds at about 1:50 am. When he returned at about 4:45 am, his passenger door was open and all the contents of his glove box were missing, including some prescriptions valued at $133 he had recently had filled.

Also missing were his wallet, which contained $100, a small purse belonging to his wife and two pairs of handcuffs.
No arrests were made.
