>> An officer on patrol saw three males standing between two Julious Drive residences in the 200 block around 11:30 p.m. on August 20. When they saw the patrol car, one of the males took a few steps toward a residence and threw a grocery bag to the ground. The three men then walked toward the edge of the roadway where the officer made contact with them. The officer then saw the same male make a motion as if dropping something to the ground. When another officer arrived, the males were identified and the items retrieved. The items dropped to the ground was ammunition for a handgun. The bag contained a handgun. The officer made contact with the resident and she advised she did not know the male and he did not have permission to be on her property. Willie Clausell was then arrested. A search of his person revealed half of a pill, later determined to be Endocot, for which he did not have a prescription. Clausell, 26, Cabin Creek Rd, was charged with Possession of a Weapon During Commission of Certain Crimes, Carrying a Pistol without a License, Possession of a Schedule I/II Substance, and Loitering/Prowling.
