Teen Injured In Athens Shooting
The boy was shot in his right arm while walking in an Athens apartment complex, police said.
ATHENS, GA — A 16-year-old boy was shot Sunday in the 700 block of Spring Valley Road, Athens-Clarke Police said Monday.
Police said the boy was walking around 11:15 a.m. near mailboxes and an office building in an apartment complex when at least one man shot him, wounding his right arm. The boy's injuries were non-threatening, and he was taken to a local hospital.
Multiple shell casings around the mailboxes were collected, and a white Honda Civic was seen leaving the complex at the time of the shooting, police said.
