If you've been suckered into hosting Thanksgiving at your house this year but aren't the best cook, don't panic. There are plenty of establishments in the Athens area that are willing to do all the cooking for you. If meal planning is a nightmare for you, then head on over and place your order for a Turkey with all the fixin's.. All that will be left to do is to set the table, and you might be able to make your little sister do that.
This locally owned family business offers a Thanksgiving menu that will impress even the pickiest family member. With your roasted Turkey, you can select sides such as pecan baked sweet potatoes or red wine gravy. Their traditional herb dressing comes with sausage or they have a vegetarian option as well. The last day for orders is November 21st but you also have the option of walking in on November 23rd and buying what is available in the kitchen.

These folks have a whole smoked turkey or a natural turkey from Trader Joe's on the menu for Thanksgiving takeout. Select sides like cornbread stuffing, macaroni and cheese, or an old fashioned cranberry Jello mold. As for dessert, just hearing the words pecan rum cake makes me want to run on over and place my order. Be sure to place yours by November 21st.

If southern style cooking is what you have a hankering for, then the Thanksgiving Feast from Honey B's is for you. They offer a slow roasted or deep fried turkey, honey glazed ham, homemade dressing, and giblet gravy. Sides options range from sweet potato souffle to Nannie's broccoli casserole. Dessert will be a hit with their Red Velvet Cake or peach cobbler. Orders need to be placed by November 22 but if you bat your eyelashes, they'll still take orders on November 23rd.

The Private Selection Traditional Turkey Dinner is as straightforward as they come. Your money will buy you a cooked Turkey, Giblet gravy, cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes, and yummy rolls. Just place your order at the Deli counter as late as November 23rd. Be sure to stop by the bakery and pick up a delicious dessert.

This traditional holiday feast offers a Publix Deli Fully Cooked Turkey that just requires heating before being served and comes with Old-Fashioned Cornbread Dressing, Homestyle Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Cranberry-Orange Relish, and Holiday Cobbler. Deadline to put your oder in is November 23rd.
This downtown eatery has dessert covered with their pick up menu of holiday pastries. Choose from various pies such as golden apple, apple blackberry, pecan, cocolate pecan, or traditional pumpkin. They also offer cheesecakes such as white chocolate or pumpkin. Orders for cheesecakes should be placed by Novemeber 21st and pie orders need to be in by November 22nd.
