There is a Free Lunch After All

If your child is 18 years old or younger, he or she is entitled to a free lunch this summer, courtesy of the Clarke County School District Nutrition Program.

The Seamless Summer Feeding Program starts today and runs through July 20, a couple of weeks before school starts.

There's no charge required. No ID required. And no registration. What a deal!

Those who are older than 18 can pay $3 and eat alongside the younger children. Adults cannot eat off the plates of children. And you can't take food out of the lunchroom.

Lunch wil be served at different public schools in Athens, from 11am until 1pm.
