Two Arrested Downtown for Meth Possession

On August 16 at 12:10am, an officer patrolling downtown on a bicycle observed two men talking on Wall St.
One of the men had a small jewelry bag in one hand and money in the other hand. The officer stopped to talk with the two men and to investigate further.
The officer found A substance which he suspected was methamphetamine. The substance field-tested positive for the drug.
Arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine were Shadburn Keats Petree, 19, S. Milledge Ave; and Shariffe Dante Sewell, 27, Rolling Ridge, Athens.
