
Close to 15,000 students are enrolled at the University of Georgia’s summer semester on various campuses. This number represents a decrease of 5.8 percent from last year.
In Athens, 13,983 students are going to summer classes, down 766 from last summer. Of those students, 9,768 are undergraduates, 3,773 are graduate students and 442 are professional students.
At the other UGA campuses, however, enrollment is up by 1. 1 percent, reaching 723 students. On the UGA Gwinnett campus, there are 416 students, which is an increase of 23.8 from last summer.

The Buckhead campus enrollment is 210 students. That’s a drop of 1.4 percent from last summer. There are 162 students in the evening M.B.A. program, which is a 1.3 percent increase from last summer. The number of Executive M.B.A. students dropped by six students.
The Ed.D. in higher education management, is in its second year at Buckhead,.It has 14 students, which is an increase of 7.7 percent from last summer. Eighty students are on the Griffin campus, 39 undergraduates and 41 graduate students. On the Tifton campus, there are 13 undergraduates and 4 graduates students. Seventeen students are enrolled at UGA’s Tifton Campus. Undergraduate enrollment is up slightly with 13 undergraduate students and 4 graduate students.

Another 106 students are enrolled in UGA independent study programs.
