Vehicles Stolen, Homes Burglarized, Drugs Found

A woman said someone entered her 2001 Ford Escape between March 7 and March 8. The owner said the car was parked at her Connelly Drive home and was not locked. A car stereo was taken during the incident. Several other miscellaneous items were taken from the car but were recovered in the area.

A woman reported that her 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe was stolen from her Chateau Terrace residence. She said the incident occurred on March 8 between 9am and 9:30am.

A man reported that his 1999 Honda Civic was stolen from his Jockey Club Drive residence between 12:40pm on March 6 and 12:50am on March 7. The vehicle is silver, with Georgia tag BXK8646, and is valued at $3,000. A suspect was named.

A 2005 Yamaha Chappy owned by a resident of Nicole Circle was stolen from a Fourth Street location between 9pm and 9:45pm on  March 5. The scooter is blue and valued at $2,000.

A Tremont Court resident reported that his 2001 Chevrolet Silverado was stolen from his home between 4pm on March 4 and 10am on March 5. The vehicle is white, with Georgia tag BVV2329, and is valued at $2,000. Cash and handguns valued at $2,500 were in the truck.

On March 8, officers on patrol in Bethel Mid Town Home saw Christopher Allen of  Norwood Circle, on the property and knew Allen was barred from there. Officers stopped and Allen and placed him under arrest for Criminal Trespass. A search incident to arrest revealed Allen to be in possession of Cocaine and Marijuana.

Members of the Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 211#1413 North Avenue, The Lodge, on March 7. A quantity of high grade marijuana, digital scales, and other distribution paraphernalia were seized. Arrested were Michael Johnson and Clayton Richards, who were charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute.

Between 6pm on March 2 and 12 noon on  March 7 rent deposits estimated at $1,520 were stolen from a drop box at The Town Homes of River Club, 400 Timothy Road.

A person known to the occupant entered a Rolling Ridge Drive residence between 2pm on 2:15pm on March 6 and removed a lap top valued at $450.

Officers responded to a burglary in progress at a Westchester Drive residence around 1:20am on March 7. A resident looked out the window and saw a black man in a shed at the back of the residence. By the time officers arrived, the suspect had left. Nothing is known to be missing. The suspect was described as approximately 6’, wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and black and white Air Force One’s.

A Bailey Street residence was burglarized between 8pm on March 4 and 7am on March 5. Prescription medications valued at $60 were stolen.

A woman reported that her Harvest Way residence was burglarized between 1pm and 4pm on March 5. TVs, a video game system, jewelry, and shoes were stolen. The total value was $1,802.
