1 Charged, 3 At Large In Jurassic World: The Exhibition Vandalism: APD

ATLANTA, GA — A man was charged, and three other people were at large, after being accused of vandalizing Sunday the Jurassic World: The Exhibition in the 200 block of Rogers Street.

Atlanta Police said officers were called to the scene on a burglary call Monday after the general manager reported four people entered the exhibit overnight and damaged multiple portions of it, causing hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages.

Police said surveillance shows the suspects on the scene around 9:30 p.m. Sunday. A security guard who arrived around 6:30 a.m. Monday noticed a trespasser on the property, and the person was identified as one of the four suspects accused of damaging the exhibit, police said.

The person was identified as Acauan Carvalho Van Deusen, 19, police said. He was charged on suspicion of burglary and taken to the DeKalb County Jail.

Atlanta Police continue to investigate the case.
