1 Dead, 4 Injured In Multi-Car Crash Near Atlanta Airport: Report
The accident had all lanes blocked on I-285 east near I-85, and police were conducting an investigation.
COLLEGE PARK, GA — A 47-year-old man died and four people were injured in a car crash Friday morning that had all lanes blocked onI-285 east at I-85, according to Georgia 511 and Channel 2 Action News.
Channel 2 reported a Stockbridge Police patrol car and a tractor-trailer were among the multiple cars involved in the accident near the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
According to a Georgia 511, a statewide traffic alert system, first responders were on the scene around 8 a.m. conducting an investigation. The alert was cleared shortly after 10:30 a.m., indicating all lanes were re-opened.
