10 Injured In MARTA Bus Crash Near I-20 W: GSP

A vehicle that did not yield to the oncoming MARTA bus hit it at Windsor Street, authorities said.

ATLANTA, GA — Ten people were injured in a crash involving a MARTA bus Monday afternoon on Interstate 20 west at Windsor Street, the Georgia State Patrol said.

Troopers responded around 2:15 p.m. to the crash. The GSP said the first vehicle was traveling on the I-20 west ramp to Windsor while the MARTA bus was heading south on Windsor.

The vehicle did not yield to the bus and hit it, the GSP said. The driver of the unidentified vehicle was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for injuries suffered in the crash, the GSP said.

Nine people on the MARTA bus were taken to Emory Midtown Hospital for their injuries, the GSP said.

The severity of all injuries is unknown.
