Sandy Springs first responders had a cadaver dog present at the scene Thursday while Georgia Search and Rescue was called in to help with shoring up the house, Jackson said.
"The house, due to the fire, was rendered unstable; and so, even though we were able to go in yesterday and recover a man and woman, we knew that in our searches to look for the other two (missing people), we were going to need to shore up this house," Jackson said Thursday afternoon.
Jackson confirmed crews have been on the scene since early Wednesday morning in the aftermath of the fire. Though the front portion of the house is still standing, he said the remainder of the home is burned.
