2 Injured In Father's Day Shooting During ATL Dispute
A 16-year-old boy was among two people who were injured in a shooting after a dispute escalated in Atlanta.
ATLANTA, GA — Two people, including a 16-year-old boy, were injured in a Father's Day shooting in the 600 block of Joseph E. Boone Boulevard, Atlanta Police said Monday.
The shooting occurred around 10:45 p.m. Sunday between two groups of people during a dispute, police said. Multiple shell casings were recovered at the scene, police said.
When officers arrived, they found a male suffering from a gunshot wound, police said. His age was not revealed.

An ambulance took the male to a local hospital for treatment, police said.
During the investigation, police said it was determined the 16-year-old boy who was grazed in his side fled the scene after being treated by emergency medical workers. The boy was not located, police said.

Officers have not detailed what led to the dispute and have not identified any potential suspects.
