2 Lanes Of Peachtree Closed For Sewer Work

Crews are having to do an emergency replacement of a sewer line, according to city officials.

ATLANTA, GA — Two lanes on Peachtree Road in Atlanta will be closed for several days due to emergency work replacing a sewer line.

The work is happening on Peachtree between Palisades Road and Collier Road. Two southbound lanes are closed due to the work.

Crews have already begun work replacing a sewer line. City officials say that concrete had filled the length of the existing pipe. The city expects the work to be finished by Sunday.
