20 Passengers Reported Ill on Atlanta-L.A. Flight

ATLANTA, GA — Twenty passengers on board a flight from Atlanta to Los Angeles reported feeling ill on Thursday.

The passengers, on Spirit Airlines Flight 404, reported briefly smelling a sweet smell in part of the plane during flight, WSB-TV reported.

The smell went away and the plane continued to Los Angeles. No passengers requested medical attention when they arrived, the station reported.

WSB said Centers For Disease Control officials were seen boarding the aircraft upon arrival.
