The shooting at Atlantic Station Saturday left Zyion Charles, 12, dead at the scene, police said. Kameron Jackson, 15, died at the hospital Tuesday, police said.
Police said Jackson was the main target and anyone else who was shot was "collateral damage." Atlanta Homicide Det. Jarion Shepherd said Charles "took a bullet meant for Kameron."

Jackson was shot when he was riding by a group of juveniles on a scooter, Shepherd said. The teen was spotted by someone in the group who yells, "There's Kameron. There's the opposition," Shepherd said. That is when the shots started, he said.
Police said there was no exchange of gunshots between Jackson and the people in the group.
All motives are being explored in the case, police said.
Juveniles had been escorted from Atlantic Station by off-duty Atlanta police and security guards for disorderly behavior and violating curfew, according to authorities. Not long after the minors were removed, an escalating dispute resulted in gunfire in the area, police said.
Shepherd said Wednesday there were at least three shooters involved with three handguns recovered from the scene.
Shepherd identified the primary shooter as a Black male who wore a yellow and black jacket, possibly in the 14 to mid-20 age range. The secondary shooter was identified as a Black male who wore a blue hoodie with white lettering, Shepherd said.
The police footage shows a group of juveniles walking along 17th Street and into a nearby MARTA train station. The group boards a train and rides it to various locations, police said.
While on the train, Shepherd said the juveniles antagonized other passengers and made gestures as if they were going to pull out a weapon. They also antagonized people at a gas station, Shepherd said.
The juveniles might not have known Charles was dead at the scene, but Shepherd said they assuredly knew someone was injured as they could be seen and heard in the police footage celebrating and talking about the shooting.
