$49 Southwest Airline Flights From Atlanta On Sale Now

ATLANTA, GA — Southwest Airlines has launched its twice-a-year travel deal, where super-cheap flights — less than $100 for some of the airline’s shortest routes — are available out of Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. The 72-hour sale offers primarily nonstop, one-way flights for as low as $49, and the one-way prices increase to $79, $99 or $129 for longer flights. On Thursday the sale wraps up.

There are some exclusions, of course. Fridays and Sundays, two of the biggest travel days of the week, are excluded, and certain dates around Labor Day and Thanksgiving are blocked out.
