600 New Jobs Coming to Georgia-Pacific Atlanta HQ
Atlanta's economic development agency approved $150 million in bonds for the project on Thursday.

ATLANTA, GA -- Up to 600 new jobs will be created at Georgia-Pacific's downtown tower, as Atlanta's economic development has approved issuing $150 million in bonds to help finance the project.
More than 2,000 people work at the company's headquarters, reports the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
The renovation project calls for reconfiguring 23 floors of the skyscraper, and includes energy efficiency upgrades.

Invest Atlanta voted unanimously to approve the project on Thursday.
An additional 700 employees will be hired by tenants who lease from Georgia-Pacific.
