8 Indicted On Gang-Related Charges Across Multiple Counties
The defendants are accused of trafficking four women and a female minor and recruiting people to join the LOTTO gang.
ATLANTA, GA — Eight people accused of being LOTTO gang members were indicted on Feb. 8 by a grand jury on several charges, including trafficking and kidnapping, Attorney General Chris Carr said Thursday.
The arrestees were from Gwinnett, DeKalb, Fulton and Monroe counties.
The indictment includes 41 criminal acts Carr said occurred between October 2021 and July 2022.

Carr said LOTTO, which stands for Last One to Take Over, is a hybrid criminal street gang with origins in the Gangster Disciples and Crips national gangs. He said LOTTO is also known as the 30 percent gang.
The eight people are accused of trafficking four women and one female minor in efforts to further criminal behavior, Carr said. The attorney general also accused the group of trying to recruit people to join LOTTO.

Carr accused the group of illegally acquiring money, weapons and property though racketeering.
“Throughout our state, gangs are actively engaged in human trafficking as a primary means to make money, and we are using all available resources to fight back and protect our most vulnerable,” Carr said in a news release.
“By combining the strengths of our Human Trafficking and Gang Prosecution Units, we are working to ensure that those who lead, promote and encourage this unlawful activity are vigorously pursued and held accountable for their actions. This indictment is just the latest outcome in our ongoing efforts to keep our children and our families safe as we seek to root out violent crime wherever it occurs.”
Each of the defendants is charged with one count of conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.
Defendants Sean Aaron Curry, Sean Patrick Harvey and Eric Duane Johnson are accused of engaging in criminal activity to get a leadership position in LOTTO, Carr said. Curry and Harvey are accused of encouraging someone to become a LOTTO associate.
