Alleged Gangster Disciple Leader Extradited to Atlanta
Shauntay Lamarr Craig was arrested Sunday in New Orleans.

The FBI says that an alleged leader of the Gangster Disciples has been arrested in New Orleans.
Shauntay Lamarr Craig, 38, was arreted by the FBI New Orleans SWAT team and the New Orleans Violent Crime Task Force. Craig is being extradited to Atlanta and was scheduled to make a court appearance on Monday.
Craig was indicted this past April with 49 other alleged Gangster Disciples by an Atlanta federal grand jury. He was the last one of those 49 who had eluded capture until Sunday.

The Gangster Disciples is a criminal gang which was formed on the South-side of Chicago in the late 1960s.
On June 3, 2016, Alvis O’Neal, 38, of Denver, was arrested by the FBI's Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force. O’Neal was indicted on April 28, 2016 by an Atlanta federal grand jury on RICO and conspiracy charges related to his alleged criminal activities on behalf of the Gangster Disciples.

The FBI had been offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the apprehension of Craig.
