50 MPH Winds, Strong Storms Expected Amid Dangerous Heat In GA

A heat advisory remains in effect as storms capable of producing up to 50 mph winds are anticipated in Georgia.

After a weekend severe system that led to four people being injured at Six Flags Over Georgia, forecasters have predicted up to 50 mph winds are on the horizon with strong storms this week in Georgia.

Additionally, the National Weather Service issued a heat advisory amid smoldering heat that is warming portions of Georgia on Monday. The advisory will expire at 8 p.m. Monday.
