5. Rev. Joanna Moseley Adams dies at 81, leaving a legacy of justice (savannahherald.com) β Atlanta is remembering Rev. Joanna Moseley Adams, a pioneering Presbyterian pastor who broke barriers at Central Presbyterian Church and helped launch key local nonprofits serving unhoused neighbors and families. Her ministry connected Atlanta's faith communities, advanced justice and environmental causes, and inspired Intown Cares' ongoing work. A memorial service is planned Sept. 4 at Trinity Presbyterian Church on Howell Mill Road.
